Hey everyone!
Today I spent the afternoon crafting with some very talented ladies! I worked on making a bunch of Halloween cards for friends. I decided it had been a while since I mailed some card out and thought Halloween would be perfect!
Here are the three variations of cards I made for the day!
Supplies:
- Darcie's Clear Polymer Stamp Set #POL79
- Memento Black Ink
- My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Halloween 6x6 pad
- Stickles in Crystal
- Copic markers (sorry don't remember the specific colors!)

Playing with Washi!
I love washi tape! I know, I know... I've given in to the washi tape trend. You can't help to fall in love after you've seen all the things you can do with it!
I always carry a little notebook in my purse so that I can write notes wherever I am. While at Barnes and Noble I realized mine had been used up and found these cute little notebooks!

When I picked them up I thought that they were just begging for some washi tape to spice them up! So that night I started playing and here is what I ended up with!

The washi tape wraps around to the back cover too with the diagonal stripes. I think it turned out pretty cute and the neon colors make me smile when I pull it out of my purse!
Here are a few other ways to use washi tape!

Washi is a great way to make to easily add a pop of color to cards and it also makes a great embellishment on scrapbook pages!
I am headed to Detroit tomorrow for the Arts, Beats, and Eats festival and to learn how to stand up paddle board this weekend!
Have a great weekend!

Recovery
Hey everyone!
So sorry I have been absent the past two weeks! I had jaw surgery and have been recovering and relaxing! I have not been up to too much except watching tv and reading books!
I did bake up a special treat a week ago though! A friend contacted me wanting to order some cake pops for her friends baby shower and I was so touched she thought of me! She asked for Bengals themed cake pops! I decided to make a vanilla bean cake with cream cheese frosting cake pop and I tinted the cake and frosting orange to go along with the Bengals theme!

I thought they turned out great! These would be perfect for football season! ;)
I plan on baking and trying some new things tomorrow. Hopefully I will have some pretty goodies to share with you afterwards!
Hope you all are having a great week!
