Recovery

Hey everyone!

So sorry I have been absent the past two weeks! I had jaw surgery and have been recovering and relaxing! I have not been up to too much except watching tv and reading books!

I did bake up a special treat a week ago though! A friend contacted me wanting to order some cake pops for her friends baby shower and I was so touched she thought of me! She asked for Bengals themed cake pops! I decided to make a vanilla bean cake with cream cheese frosting cake pop and I tinted the cake and frosting orange to go along with the Bengals theme!










I thought they turned out great! These would be perfect for football season! ;)

I plan on baking and trying some new things tomorrow.  Hopefully I will have some pretty goodies to share with you afterwards!

Cards for Maddy (and a giveaway!)

Hey everyone!

Today I am excited to tell you about a card drive for a dear sweet little girl named Maddy! Maddy is a 13 year old battling leukemia and she will be receiving a stem cell transplant from her 15 year old sister Melanie.

Please help us in sending cards of encouragement and love for these girls to lift their spirits. Every person who sends at least one card will be entered in the drawing for the die giveaway.

Latest creations!

Hey all! As promised here are a few of my latest cards! Not much but I when I made them I was in a "simple is better" kind of mood! I also made a Washi Tape layout so I can see them at a glance!











I plan on scrapbooking some more tonight so I hope to have some layouts up soon!
